MODEL GARMENT SIZES - Alice May (pink dungarees and sage shorts) is wearing a pattern size 4 (UK 12). Abi (mustard dungarees and pink leopard print dungarees) is wearing a pattern size 11 (UK 26), graded to a size 13 (UK 30) at the waist.

• 0.2m (1/4yd) iron-on interfacing
• Sewing machine and basic tools, including buttonhole foot for buttonhole version

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS

Soft woven fabrics or low stretch knits, such as French terry, ponte roma, needlecord, linen and blends, chambray, soft twill, viscose (rayon). If you’re using a relatively thick fabric such as needlecord, choose a light- to medium weight cotton for the bib lining (and pockets if you like) – otherwise you can use your main fabric for the lining too.

Shorts:

• sizes 1-4 - 1.3m (1½yd) + 0.7m (¾yd) lining*
